Life In The Carolinas host Carl White visits with and celebrates with the people of Columbia SC during the 2012 “Famously Hot” New Year’s Celebration in Downtown Columbia. It was the first year for this event and it was a big success with more than 20,000 people in attendance.  We also visited Motor Supply and Chef Tim Peters for a bit of education on some of the traditional foods served on New Year’s Day.
