In its’ third year, Carolina in the Fall™ presented by Wilkes Communications and River Street Productions has become an annual pilgrimage of bluegrass and folk music lovers. In addition to great music, those that attend will be treated to some of North Carolina’s best food as each year trucks from the region will bring their secret recipes to feed the masses and vie for the Carolina in the Fall™ Food Truck Championship trophy. Additionally, local vineyards and regional craft breweries will be onsite to provide a taste of the region’s best beverages. As a lifestlye festival, CITF offers more than just music and food. Other events include The North Carolina Banjo Championship, The Chad Lovette Memorial Trail Run and Ride in support of the American Cancer Society and the Silent Auction in support of the Wilkes Music Afterschool Program. If you need a little getaway from sitting and listening, Contra and clogging dance classes and Artist Workshops are held both days of the festival.
