35th Annual Pumpkin Festival is coming!
This festival is free and open to the public. Handicapped parking is available in the Oolenoy Baptist Church parking lot and golf carts will be available to shuttle folks to and from the festival grounds throughout the day.
Festival Parade will begin around 9:00am at the Pumpkintown Fire Department and ends after passing the Oolenoy Community Buiilding. Festivities continue until 5:00pm.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the day long music and cloggers, wander through the grounds with more than 165 arts and crafts boots.
There will be a number of food booths with items from hamburgers and barbeque chicken to homemade cakes and ice cream.
Breakfast items will also be offered inside the Community Center.
Festival souvenirs will be available outside and inside the Community Building so do not forget a T-shirt, car tag or tote to name only a few items.
At 3:00 pm will be the greased pole climb.
No pets will be allowed on the festival grounds unless it is a service animal.
Also inside the Community Building you will find a table with $1 raffle tickets for the festival quilt quilted by Ann Stowe. which is given away each year. Drawing will be held at 4:00 pm and you do not have to be present to win.
Pumpkins of all sizes will be available for purchase at the entrance to the Community Building. TD Bank will have a tent set up with paints available for children to dress up their pumpkins.
