This season, holiday Elves can be found all around in Lenoir’s Downtown! As you enjoy your holiday shopping, have fun though out the Downtown district locating the hidden Holiday Elves in participating businesses and locals. Play along by collecting digital stamps and win some prizes. Everyone who finds all 21 elves will receive a 20% off voucher (at participating businesses) and be entered into a drawing where one lucky winner will receive $500’s in gift cards at participating retailers, restaurants, brewery and meadery.

Join us on Saturday, November 27th, for Small Business Saturday as we kick of this Christmas season with Light Up Lenoir Holiday Light Show at the Downtown stage. This light show will run through January 1st. Be sure to shop local during this Christmas season.
One of Downtown Lenoir’s holiday traditions, Light Up Lenoir Holiday Light Show, will shine brightly on Shop Small Saturday, November 27th. This year’s holiday light show will be lit up on Shop Small Saturday spotlighting all of our Downtown retailers, businesses, and eateries! Join us on Saturday, November 27th and check off all those people on your holiday shopping list! You’ll find that special one of a kind gift and fun holiday shopping with our unique retailers and specialty shops. Safely celebrate creativity and be dazzled while strolling through the 10,000 light of the musically animated Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Show! At 5:00 pm, we will light it up in Downtown Lenoir. While in town be sure to visit our many eateries, brewery and meadery. Make it Merry for Many by shopping small and shopping local!
The Light Up Lenoir Holiday Light Show will be running from November 27th, – January 1st.
Starry Night Christmas Parade
The Downtown Lenoir Starry Night Christmas Parade is a much-loved holiday tradition in the city. University and high school bands march and perform, numerous community groups and businesses enter floats, and Santa visits every year!
Theme
The theme this year is “Walking in a Winter Wonderland.” Are sleigh bells ringing? Is there a snowman in the meadow. Are you snuggling by a fire? Decorate your floats and vehicles with snowy hometown nostalgia.
Street Closures
Street Closures will begin at 3:30 pm for the Parade Line-Up area.
College Avenue will be closed from Willow Street to Virginia Street including all intersections in between.
Harper Avenue will be closed from Willow Street to West Avenue.
Additional Street Closures will begin at 5:00 pm for the Parade Route.
Harper Avenue will be closed from Mulberry Street to West Avenue.
Mulberry Street will be closed from Harper Avenue to Ashe Avenue.
Ashe Avenue will be closed from Mulberry Street to Main Street.
Main Street will be closed from Ashe Avenue to Harper Avenue.
West Avenue will be closed from Mulberry Street to Broadway Street.
